Part Time Music Instructor
Green Acres Art Centre Inc., located in Teulon, MB, is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a love for music in students of all ages and skill levels. Working under the Board of Directors and associated committees, music instructors will provide high-quality instruction to students in a variety of styles and genres.

Position Summary:
Green Acres Art Centre Inc., located in Teulon, MB, is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a love for music in students of all ages and skill levels. Working under the Board of Directors and associated committees, music instructors will provide high-quality instruction to students in a variety of styles and genres.
Candidates will act as independent contractors, and the position will be part-time to start with continual growth depending on student enrolment.
We offer a competitive hourly rate that is based on education, experience, and expertise. Instructors will develop individualized lesson plans based on the students’ interests and skill levels, ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment, while adhering to the Green Acres Art Centre’s policies and program standards.

Essential Functions and Duties:
Functions and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Promotes the mission, vision, and goals of the GAAC.
- Ability to work independently.
- Create a positive, encouraging, and supportive learning atmosphere.
- Teach music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each student.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Work in partnership with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall music education experience.
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to improve and develop music programming
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a music instructor or performer.
- Musically inclined with the ability to play instruments specific to teachings.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with students, guardians, and the Board of Directors.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Completes and maintains a satisfactory pre-employment security check.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
